About AN swivel
Female AN 37° flare end with a captive B-nut on a stem, the end found on AN hose ends and hard line fittings. The nut turns while the body stays aimed, so a line can be tightened without twisting it. Mates with any male AN or JIC end of the same dash size.

About AN
The military and aerospace 37° flare that motorsport fuel, oil and coolant plumbing is built on. AN fittings share the 37° seat and UNF thread sizes with JIC, so a -6 AN mates with a -6 JIC, but the threads are held to the tighter class 3A and 3B. Usually 6061 aluminum, anodized red, blue or black.
