Hydraulics
Hydraulic adapters and valve blocks for ports that never match.
Pumps, valves and cylinders rarely share a thread. Join JIC, ORB, ORFS, DIN 24°, metric, JIS and SAE flanges in one machined part, with the working pressure shown for every end before you order.
- Pressure shown on every end
- Zinc plated steel or 316
- Hydrostatic test option
Hydraulic ports
In the field
Where a custom hydraulic fitting saves the day
A pump with an ORB port, a valve with SAE flanges and a hose with JIC ends. A machined adapter or block joins them without a stack of catalog adapters and the leak paths between them.
Built for maintenance and OEM work
Replace the adapter stack with one part
Every adapter you remove is one less leak point and one less thing to shake loose. Specify the exact thread, angle and length once and reorder it with a code.
Any port to any port
JIC, ORB, ORFS, DIN L and S series, metric, JIS PF, BSPP, NPT and Code 61 or 62 flange heads.
Rated before you buy
Each end shows its standard rating and the wall rating in your material, and anything under your required pressure is flagged.
Manifolds and valve blocks
Two to eight outlets per face, cartridge cavities in 08 to 16 sizes, mounting holes and engraved port labels.

Open any of these in the builder and change the sizes, angle, material or ports to match your machine.
Connections
Hydraulic connections in the catalog
Every connection the hydraulics catalog offers, with the standard it is machined to, how it seals and the sizes available. Ratings are the connection standard's; the builder also checks the wall in your material.
| Connection | Standard | Seals on | Sizes | Standard rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JIC 37° (AN) | SAE J514 | 37° flare metal seat | -2 to -32 (12) | up to 5,000 psi |
| SAE ORB | SAE J1926, J514 | O ring in port chamfer | -2 to -32 (12) | up to 6,000 psi |

FAQ
Questions about hydraulics parts
Which hydraulic threads can you machine?
JIC 37° flare, SAE ORB (straight thread O-ring boss), ORFS, DIN 2353 24° cone in L and S series, metric parallel, JIS PF, BSPP, NPT and NPSM, plus SAE J518 Code 61 and Code 62 flange heads and cartridge valve cavities. Any end can be mixed with any other.
What pressure are the parts rated for?
Each end shows the rating of its connection standard, and the builder calculates the wall rating in the material you pick. The part rating is the lower of the two. Enter your working pressure and anything below it is flagged before checkout.
Can you make a valve block for cartridge valves?
Yes. Choose the manifold shape, add 08, 10, 12 or 16 size two, three or four way cavities, then set the inlet, outlet and gauge ports. Cavity dimensions are approximate, so confirm them against your valve maker's drawing.
Steel or stainless?
12L14 steel with zinc plating is the economical choice for hydraulic oil. 316 stainless is for corrosive environments, washdown and water glycol. 303 machines well for general use.
Can you pressure test the parts?
Yes. Add hydrostatic testing and every part in the lot is tested at 1.5 times its rated pressure for 60 seconds, with results on the test report.
