About ORB
SAE straight thread O ring boss port. An O ring on the male end seals in the chamfer of the port, so it holds high pressure without sealant and can be clocked to any angle. Found on pumps, valves, cylinders and manifolds.
SAE J1926, J514. Seals by: o ring in port chamfer.
About ORFS
O ring face seal fitting. An O ring in the face compresses against a flat mating face, making it one of the most leak resistant connections under high pressure and vibration. Common on construction, forestry and agricultural equipment.
SAE J1453. Seals by: o ring on flat face.
