About ORB
SAE straight thread O ring boss port. An O ring on the male end seals in the chamfer of the port, so it holds high pressure without sealant and can be clocked to any angle. Found on pumps, valves, cylinders and manifolds.
SAE J1926, J514. Seals by: o ring in port chamfer.
About Metric
Metric straight thread ports, sealed with an O ring stud or a sealing washer. Used on European and Asian hydraulics, automotive sensors and engine plumbing.
ISO 261, ISO 6149. Seals by: o ring stud or sealing washer.
