About NPT
American tapered pipe thread. The taper wedges tight and seals on the thread flanks with sealant or PTFE tape. Found on pumps, compressors, gauges, valves and general plumbing across North America.

About Push to connect
Push to connect ports for PEX, copper and CPVC tube in CTS sizes (SharkBite style), and for nylon and PU pneumatic tube in inch and metric sizes. A stainless grab ring holds the tube and an O ring seals it.
