About Garden hose (GHT)
3/4-11.5 NH garden hose thread, sealed with a flat rubber washer rather than on the thread. Found on hose bibs, garden hoses, washing machines, pressure washers and irrigation. It does not mate with 3/4 NPT.

About NPT
American tapered pipe thread. The taper wedges tight and seals on the thread flanks with sealant or PTFE tape. Found on pumps, compressors, gauges, valves and general plumbing across North America.
