About Micro thread
Small instrument threads such as 10-32 UNF, M5 and 1/4-28, sealed with an O ring or bonded washer. Used for sensors, pneumatic valves, fluidics and test ports.
ISO 261, ASME B1.1. Seals by: o ring or bonded washer.
About Hose barb
Barbed spigot for soft tube such as vinyl, silicone, PU and PE, sized to the tube inside diameter from 1/16 in to 1 in and 2 to 25 mm. Sharp ridges grip the tube; add a clamp or ferrule above 30 psi. Used for dosing, lab fluidics, coolant, aquariums, beverage and irrigation lines.
