About JIC
37° flare fitting that seals metal to metal on the flare seat. It shares the seat angle and threads with AN fittings, so a -6 JIC mates with a -6 AN. The most common hydraulic hose end in North America and the standard for motorsport fuel lines.

About SAE flange
Four bolt split flange for large pump and valve ports from 1/2 to 2 in. Code 61 is standard pressure and Code 62 is high pressure. An O ring in the flange head seals against the pad.
